Practical Boat Owner reviews the Thaicats
Date: 2009-05-01
The nice people at PBO have sent us a preview copy of the next edition - in your newsagents next week - with the long awaited review of both Thaicats. Their Technical Editor and power cat aficionado, David Harding, took them both for a hearty spin in a choppy winter Solent and was impressed.
His verdict was "Despite their relatively narrow beam (an important consideration for trailing and berthing) the Thaicats provide a vast amount of room.......With space and pace in abundance, they're an appealing alternative to boats such as the Arvors, Merry Fishers, Quicksilvers and other peche promenades. As versatile, roomy, trailable, family-friendly dayboats and sporty weekenders, they should make their mark."
A full review will follow here, but in the meantime pick up a copy of PBO next week.
